52.2 - The Tinture of Time

I’m walking into 2020 with a clear heart and mind. If you owe me, don’t worry about it. If you wronged me, it’s all good, lesson learned. If you’re angry with me, you won – I’ve let it go. If we aren’t speaking, it’s cool – I truly wish you well. If you feel I’ve wronged you, I apologize – it wasn’t intentional. I’m grateful for every experience that I received. Life is too short for pent-up anger, holding of grudges and extra stress or pain! Here’s to 2020! Remember forgiving someone is for you so don’t block your blessings. Make 2020 a year of positivity and a season of forgiveness.”

I have fought a thousand battles, but I am still standing. I have cried a thousand tears, but I am still smiling. I have been broken, betrayed, abandoned, rejected, but I am still walking proud.

“Maturity is learning to walk away from people and situations that threaten your peace of mind, self-respect, values, morals or self-worth.”

“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”

Be strong when you are weak, brave when you are scared and be humble when you are victorious.

When you get tire, rest, don’t give up. Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths.

When you are looking in the mirror, you are looking at the problem. But, remember, you are also looking at the solution.

Give the tincture of time a chance

Honor the darkness between the days of our lives, between light of yesterday and the new day arriving on the horizon. We need the darkness in between the past and the future to heal and to prepare our hearts for what is coming in the dawn of tomorrow. Often things must fall apart before they fall together.

Inhale the future. Exhale the past.

"Do you know what happens when you decide to stop worrying about what other people might think of you? You get to dance. You get to sing. You get to laugh loudly, paint, write, and create. You get to be yourself. Some people won't like you, but it won't bother you all that much."

"Sometimes our light goes out but is blown again into flame by an encounter with another human being. Each of us owes the deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this inner light." ~ Albert Schweitzer

"If you don’t have time for what matters, stop making time in the new year for what does not."

“May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sunshine warm upon your face and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.” – Irish Blessing
