Nov 15 - Burning our boats and bridges

At Energy Yoga we have people that grew up all over the world, yet somehow have found themselves together practicing yoga together. Our yoga practice teaches us that we have a lot more in common than we have as differences.

“In 1519, the Spanish Conquistador Hernán Cortés landed on the beaches of Veracruz, Mexico to begin his great conquest of Central America. Upon arriving, he gave orders to his men to sink and burn the ships, to avoid mutiny and his crew returning to Cuba. Sometimes in life we just have burn our boats and burn our bridges, in order to gain the courage to conquer our fears and move forward in life into the uncharted waters of our future.”

“It is not where you start in life, but the direction in which you are heading that determines the final outcome. Magnificent things grow from the insignificant.
